Unless otherwise indicated, content appearing on our website and in our publications is owned by MonDai Magazine, LLC or used with permission from the applicable rights holder.
Our name, branding, logos, publication designs, and other protected materials may not be reproduced or used commercially without appropriate authorization.
Purchasing a magazine or subscription grants you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to access and enjoy the purchased content in accordance with these Terms.
Purchases do not transfer copyright or ownership of the underlying materials.
Except where permitted by law or authorized by the applicable rights holder, you may not:
Reproduce, redistribute, or republish substantial portions of our publications.
Upload or distribute purchased digital editions through unauthorized websites or sharing platforms.
Sell, license, or commercially exploit MonDai content without permission.
Remove copyright notices or other ownership information.
Share membership credentials to provide unauthorized access to purchased content.
Permission requests may be directed to friends@mondaimag.com.
3. Editorial Independence and Contributor Content
MonDai retains editorial discretion over the selection, development, presentation, and publication of its content.
Views and opinions expressed by featured individuals, interviewees, contributors, and other third parties are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of MonDai Magazine, LLC.
Editorial content is provided for general information and inspiration. It should not be interpreted as individualized legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
Advertising, sponsorships, and paid promotional content will be identified where required by applicable law.
The inclusion of an individual, business, or organization in a MonDai publication does not automatically constitute an endorsement of its products, services, or activities.
4. Digital Magazine Purchases
MonDai offers individual digital editions of its publications for purchase.
Digital magazines are delivered electronically or made accessible through the method identified at purchase. This may include protected membership pages on our Squarespace website containing embedded Heyzine flipbooks.
Individual digital purchases provide access only to the specific edition purchased, unless the product description expressly states otherwise.
Purchasing a digital edition does not automatically include a printed copy or access to other editions.
Digital Access Period
Digital magazine purchases include access to the purchased content for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless a different access period is expressly stated in the applicable offer.
Access begins when the purchased digital content is made available to the customer.
Customers are responsible for maintaining compatible devices, an internet connection, and any account credentials necessary to view their publications.
MonDai may make reasonable changes to its digital delivery platforms during the access period. Where such changes occur, we will make reasonable efforts to preserve purchased access through an available delivery method.
Digital content is provided for personal, noncommercial use and may not be redistributed or shared beyond the rights expressly granted.
5. Annual Magazine Subscriptions
MonDai Magazine follows a quarterly publication schedule, with four editions planned during a standard publication year.
Annual subscriptions may be offered in digital, print, or combined formats, depending on the products available at the time of purchase.
Annual Digital Subscriptions
A standard annual digital subscription includes four designated quarterly editions during the applicable subscription period.
The subscription provides access for 12 months from the date of purchase. The specific editions included, the availability of newly published editions, and any access to archived publications will be described in the applicable subscription offer.
An annual subscription does not automatically grant access to every previously published edition or to publications outside the stated offer.
Founding Subscribers
Customers who purchased founding subscriptions under MonDai's original six-issue publication arrangement will retain the benefits associated with their original purchase agreements.
The transition to a quarterly publishing schedule does not eliminate previously promised founding-subscriber entitlements.
Publication Schedules
Publication dates may change because of editorial, production, printing, distribution, or other operational circumstances.
If a material delay or change affects a customer's paid subscription entitlement, MonDai will address the matter in accordance with the applicable purchase agreement and consumer protection laws.
6. Digital Purchase Cancellations and Refunds
Digital publications and digital subscription purchases are final once digital access has been provided or activated.
Because customers receive electronic access to purchased content, MonDai does not accept voluntary cancellations, returns, or change-of-mind refund requests after digital delivery or access activation.
Customers are encouraged to confirm the selected edition, subscription package, price, format, and access terms before completing a purchase.
If purchased digital content is not provided, is materially defective, or cannot be accessed as represented, customers should contact sales@mondaimag.com for assistance.
MonDai will investigate the issue and provide an appropriate remedy, which may include restored access, replacement access, cancellation, or a refund where required by applicable law.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or limits consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.
7. Print Magazine Purchases
Printed editions are available individually or through eligible subscription packages, subject to inventory, production schedules, and product availability.
Customers should review the applicable product description before purchasing, particularly when an edition is offered for preorder.
Shipping Destinations
MonDai currently offers standard shipping to the 50 United States and Washington, DC, unless otherwise stated.
When shipping is included in a product's advertised price, no additional standard shipping charge will be applied for eligible destinations.
Any applicable taxes or other charges will be disclosed during checkout.
Shipping and Delivery
We make reasonable efforts to process and ship orders within the timeframes communicated in the product description or order confirmation.
Actual delivery times may vary because of postal service operations, weather, transportation delays, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Delivery estimates are not guarantees unless expressly stated otherwise.
If an order cannot be shipped within the represented timeframe, MonDai will provide the notices, cancellation opportunities, and refunds required by applicable law.
8. Print Order Cancellations
Customers may request cancellation of a print magazine order within 48 hours of placing the order, provided the order has not already shipped.
Cancellation requests must be submitted to sales@mondaimag.com within the applicable 48-hour period.
The request should include the purchaser's name, order number, and email address associated with the purchase.
Eligible cancellations will receive a refund to the original payment method. Processing times may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
Once an order has shipped, it generally cannot be voluntarily canceled, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
The 48-hour cancellation policy does not limit additional cancellation rights that may arise from shipping delays, non-delivery, or applicable consumer protection requirements.
9. Refunds, Returns, and Order Problems
All sales are generally final, except for eligible print order cancellations, remedies expressly described in these Terms, or rights provided by applicable law.
MonDai does not offer discretionary refunds or returns for changes of mind following fulfillment.
If a printed publication arrives damaged or defective, an incorrect edition is delivered, or a shipment is missing, customers should contact sales@mondaimag.com.
When reporting an issue, please provide your order number and a description of the problem. Photographs may be requested when reasonably necessary to assess damage or fulfillment errors.
MonDai will review the circumstances and provide an appropriate remedy, such as replacement, corrected fulfillment, restored digital access, or a refund where appropriate or legally required.
Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights concerning defective products, inaccurate descriptions, non-delivery, unauthorized charges, or other matters protected by applicable law.
10. Preorders and Publication Delays
Certain MonDai editions may be available for purchase before printing or general release.
Product descriptions for preorders will identify the anticipated shipping or release timeframe when available.
Customers should understand that preorder fulfillment may be affected by printing, production, or distribution schedules.
MonDai will have a reasonable basis for any advertised shipping estimate.
If we determine that a print preorder cannot ship within the applicable promised timeframe, we will provide notice and offer customers the opportunity to consent to an eligible delay or cancel and receive a refund, as required by law.
If the required consent is not obtained or the order cannot be fulfilled, MonDai will issue the refund required by applicable law.
These obligations apply independently of our standard 48-hour print cancellation policy.
11. Subscription Billing, Renewal, and Cancellation
Subscription pricing, the number of included editions, publication format, access period, and payment arrangements will be disclosed in the applicable subscription offer.
A subscription purchased through a one-time payment does not automatically renew unless the customer separately authorizes a recurring payment arrangement.
If MonDai offers automatically renewing subscriptions, the renewal price, billing frequency, payment authorization, material conditions, and cancellation instructions will be disclosed before purchase.
Customers enrolled in recurring subscriptions may cancel future renewals in accordance with the applicable offer and governing law.
Cancellation of future renewal charges does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund for a previously delivered or fulfilled purchase.
Digital subscription purchases are also subject to the digital cancellation and refund terms in Section 6, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
12. Prices, Payments, and Taxes
All prices displayed on our website are expressed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated.
MonDai may process payments through Squarespace, Shopify, or associated third-party payment services.
By completing a purchase, you authorize the applicable payment provider to process the charges presented at checkout.
Prices may change for future purchases. Changes to advertised prices do not retroactively alter completed transactions, except as permitted or required by law.
Applicable sales taxes and any shipping or additional charges will be calculated or disclosed during checkout.
MonDai reserves the right to investigate and address suspected payment fraud, unauthorized purchases, and material transaction errors in accordance with applicable law.
13. Membership Accounts and Access Security
Certain digital publications and subscription services require customers to create or use a membership account.
Customers are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and protecting their login credentials.
Account access is intended for the registered purchaser unless the applicable offer expressly permits additional authorized users.
Unauthorized sharing of credentials, attempts to bypass access restrictions, or redistribution of purchased publications may result in reasonable account restrictions or other appropriate action.
Where an access restriction affects a legitimate purchase, MonDai will address any remaining contractual obligations and applicable consumer rights.
Customers experiencing account or digital access problems should contact sales@mondaimag.com.
14. Email Communications
MonDai communicates with readers and customers through Squarespace, Flodesk, and other service providers used for publication operations.

Digital magazine access instructions.
Subscription and account notifications.

Invitations, special offers, and promotional communications.
Marketing communications will include an available unsubscribe mechanism where required by law.
Unsubscribing from promotional messages does not prevent necessary transactional or account-related communications.
For general communication questions, contact friends@mondaimag.com.
15. Third-Party Platforms and External Links
Our website and services may integrate with Squarespace, Shopify, Heyzine, Flodesk, Google, payment processors, and social media platforms.
These services may operate according to their own terms, policies, and technical requirements.
MonDai is not responsible for unrelated content, products, or services offered by independently operated third-party websites.
Links to external websites are provided for reference or convenience and do not automatically constitute endorsements.
16. Website Availability and Technical Interruptions
MonDai seeks to maintain a reliable and accessible website, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

We may make reasonable updates to the website, digital reading experience, and supporting technology.
If an interruption affects purchased content, please contact sales@mondaimag.com so we can investigate and provide appropriate assistance.
Nothing in this section limits remedies available under applicable law for failure to deliver purchased products or services.

Although we strive for accuracy and quality, we do not guarantee that all editorial information will remain complete, current, or suitable for every individual circumstance.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, MonDai Magazine, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from website use or services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, contractual remedies, or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
18. Privacy and Personal Information
Our collection, use, and handling of personal information are described in our Privacy & Cookies Policy, available on the legal information page at mondaimag.com.
That policy explains our practices relating to website data, cookies, advertising technologies, email communications, third-party services, and privacy rights.
19. Changes to These Terms
MonDai may update these Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes in our publication offerings, technology, business practices, or applicable legal requirements.
Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
Material changes affecting existing purchases or subscriptions will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the terms governing those transactions.
